Concept
Together with the client, we defined the use case for the companion and the creative accessories to be included.
Based on these requirements, we came up with the idea of an easy-to-handle trolley equipped with pencils, paper, chalk and a chalkboard. The trolley can be used as a stool and its lid, when removed from the box, converts into a drawing surface..
Implementation
The product was produced in a small series in collaboration with local woodworking and metalworking companies.
The Kinder-Kunsttransporter is proving popular with both individual children and small groups as a guide and stimulating companion to make their exhibition experience educational and creative.
Re-Edition
Enthused by the playful product, the "MUMOK" art museum in Vienna re-issued an edition of 15 trolleys in 2012 for its art education program.
