Ideation
After an intensive design phase, a charcoal barbecue was developed in close collaboration with the client, whose technical features are emphasised by an open and modular design.
Design development
During the integrative design and development process, we were able to iteratively incorporate additional features and use scenarios into the finished product.
This required a lively exchange between the engineering and design teams through expressive sketches, technical illustrations, renderings and the development of numerous functional mockups. In the early stages of product development, we provided photorealistic rendering assets in preparation for product marketing.
We completed the detailing phase with a 1:1 scale mock-up to identify and correct any final design flaws.
Design Implentierung
As part of the production sourcing for the forthcoming production run, we were required to provide CAD data and component illustrations to support a straightforward bidding process.
In addition to development, we supported the client through several stages of refinement and design reviews during the period of production preparation with the manufacturer.
Final product
The Vulkan Grill has an exceptional design that deliberately sets it apart from the competition. The pragmatism of its construction and composition will appeal to both experienced hobbyists and professional users.
The ingenious and extremely sophisticated construction and the synthesis of different materials and finishes, such as polished stainless steel, brass and copper, have resulted in a product that is extremely charismatic and appealing due to its wealth of technical details.
