Concept ideation
We developed a number of exhibition concepts.
Our basic idea, which united the otherwise very different concepts, was to reinterpret iconic and innovative inventions of Amazon's history as the actual elements to host the exhibits: Elements representing innovations in warehouse logistics, the delivery locker, etc. would frame the lineup of significant products, fragments and quotes from 25 years of company history.

The idea of repurposing the delivery locker as a kind of "exhibition calendar" seemed compelling enough to make it the central element of the "Amaversary" exhibition.

Design development and construction
The development phase was characterized by two main challenges:
First, the curation/development of significant, suprising and entertaining exhibits (e.g. a singing Alexa voice when pushing a button), which we elaborated in close collaboration with the communication department.
Second the design of constructive solutions to transform the original delivery locker into a multifaceted exhibit element, that features multiple tablets with interactive experiences, various mechanically different drawers, doors, hatches and illuminated presentation boxes.

Production
The production phase was characterized by many tasks to be solved with the will to improvise in order to transform the original locker into our exhibition element.
